This is an excellent place to shop for bulk food and deli meat and cheese. Prices are much better than the large grocery stores. No comparison at all in pricing.
The price for lunch meat and cheese are good. There is a good selection of locally grown, in season vegetables. I live near this establishment and have been a customer since it first opened. However, I have stopped buying pantry items such as flour, powered sugar and mild flavored crackers and cookies in the bulk plastic bags. These items absorb the flavors from the herbs and spices stored near by. I have had to return items that taste like the absorbed spices. This condition has been brought to the establishments attention on two separate occasions and nothing has been done to remedy the problem. As a result, I have resumed shopping at the Ashery in Mount Eaton, Ohio. This bulk food store has special enclosed shelving for pungent and strong spices. The store has a wider selection of items, geared to the more serious cook.
Friendly prompt service, even when it's busiest they do their best to serve you promptly and efficiently. Sometimes you can get discount fruit and veggies, and they carry a large assortment of chips, baking supplies, gluten free products, produce, baked goods, lunch meats and cheese. Sales on deli weekly.
